On Saturday I had a big sleep in til 9am which was amazing, and started off the day by lighting a candle and having a long relaxing shower and reading A Very Short History of The World by Geoffrey Blainey.

I then met up with one of my best girlfriends and had a big shopping day with her. And don't worry, we didn't buy those gaudy shoes, haha! After spending all day with L, we got home and got ready for the two 21sts on that evening. It's unfortunate that two of our close friends from different circles had their parties on the same night, but we split the time equally and had an awesome time at both.

On Sunday it was a BIG day for cooking. I had to wake up very early that morning while hungover to start slow cooking a pork shoulder which I had marinated while slightly tipsy the night before. Nothing better than cooking under the influence! After this I had an early lunch with the boyfriend at a local bakery and went grocery shopping. I then spent the whole day cooking with my mum and L; we made pulled pork, chile con carne and a huge amount of Mexican-themed side dishes and alcoholic beverages for my end of semester tequila party. It turned out great, everyone had an awesome time and loved the food and we played ridiculous drinking games. At one point I felt like I was going to throw up I was laughing so hard.

Monday was the last day of my boyfriend's holidays so we spent the day together relaxing and watching movies. After this I went over to another one of my best girlfriend's houses with L and J to surprise her on her birthday.

Here's a picture that I couldn't resist putting up. My friend, A, is a dog breeder so when we were over a her house we got to play with her 7 adorable baby huskies.

We finished off the night by going to get sushi and seeing Despicable Me together. So good to see all the girls!
That's my big weekend, and it doesn't seem like the rest of the week will be any more quiet, so I'll keep you all updated :-)
